Cheap Nike Air Max vapormax

On March the 26th, 1987, Nike released the shoe that would become a fashion icon: The Air Max 1. To honour this timeless shoe, this day has been dubbed ‘Air Max Day’, a day where usually some sort of special release Air Max is dropped to celebrate the success of the Air Max 1. However, throughout the entirety of March, Nike release various other trainers because silly people like me will most likely buy them. All these releases are great for my collection, but not so much for my bank balance. Below are five trainers coming out for Air Max month that I need to get my hands on.
Anyone that has read my previous post will know I’m a big fan Cheap Nike Air Max vapormax of the 720 and believe it has a lot of potential to become a future classic. After picking up the first-to-drop purple colourway, I’ve been most excited for this release which makes up part of the ‘throwback future’ pack. There are two things I love my trainers to be: reflective and/or iridescent; luckily there’s plenty of the latter to go around with this shoe. Accompanying the iridescent mesh upper appears to be tortoise plastic detailing, with that huge air bubble in the same blueish colour. I’m hoping this shoe shouldn’t be too difficult to pick up, but it’s a difficult one to call as previous all-iridescent Nikes have been pretty rare. This 720 releases online at Nike and Footlocker on the 14th.
Due to the ongoing popularity of the Air Max 97, I expect this will be the hardest of the ‘throwback future’ pack to cop. A blueish-purple iridescent panel replaces where the usual reflective piping can be found on other 97s, with a black tongue and mudguard breaking up the rest shoe. The swooshes and air unit seem to be a sort of reddish pink which will accompany the iridescent upper perfectly when the light catches it. I’m a huge fan of this colour scheme and, of course, it’s an Air Max 97, so it’s an easy cop for me (assuming I can get it!).
Possibly the shoe I am most excited for this month, one of my favourite models releases in a colourway heavily inspired by another one of my favourite models: The Nike Air Max 95. This Air Max 98 uses the same Cheap Nike Air Max UK grey gradient pattern as the OG Air Max 95, whilst softening the neon green used on the 95 to a lighter shade of mint. I absolutely love the way Nike have incorporated one of their most iconic colourways ever onto the Air Max 98. I will without a doubt be attempting to cop these when they release at a currently unconfirmed date later this month.
Unfortunately, with my big man feet there’s no way I will squeeze into the women’s sizes of the Nike P-6000, but I’m hoping for a release in men’s sizes at some point in the near future. Despite being a brand new model, this shoe already looks like it’s 20 years old due to its gaudy panelling and indiscreet silver detailing. It reminds me a lot of the Air Max TL 2.5 (Nike, this needs a retro!) due to the overall silhouette and position of the Nike Swoosh. If you want a dose of 90s aesthetic and have small feet, you can pick these up on the 14th of March from SNEAKRS.
